Just a simple exercise I did with my beginners watercolour class a few years ago. It is now being re - worked into a mosaic in workshop I am currently doing with a mosaic artist and a group of students.
This is a watercolour on watercolour paper. ( can't remember what kind).
Aprox. 21 cm x 21 cm

I love this. It's a pity I don't live in Melbourne otherwise I would join your classes for mosaic.

Thank you very much for your lovely comment. I did this in one of my watercolour classes. The lesson was to do a watercolour mandala. I painted along with the class. A friend of mine, who is a mosaic artist made this into a large mosaic in a workshop we did together. I really should add the link to this of the mosaic. Thank you again.

Thanks, Anj! This one actually doesn't use salt effects, but rather cauliflowers. :D

LOL... just goes to show that you can use just about anything to make art. I remember when I was a kid in school... and doing potato painting. Gosh! I hadn't thought about that forever!
Hugs,
Anj

Ha, ha, not sure you are joking. By cauliflowers I don't mean I used vegetables to apply the paint, but rather this is what they call it when wet paint meets a dryer patch, and then it creates a kind of bloom or backrun. You can also get that by dropping water into a damp wash.
