This was painted by request. The reason I painted the tiger again, is because it was chosen to be reproduced on journals, and they needed a high resolution image. The one they originally selected was only a low res image of the original tiger , which was unavailable to be photographed.
Love your painting, it baguely reminds me of Franz March.
Thank you , I find that an interesting comment, although not sure our styles are that similar. He did paint animals in an abstract and colourful way, however.
What an imaginative way to see a tiger!
Wow this is gorgeous! The style in this one is very unique, a little Picaso like and still you can recognize the tiger easily. I love the way all those colors and shapes add up so nicely to the tiger's face.
Thank you so much , Kiara ! I appreciate your kind feedback. Yes, I'm rather a big fan of Picasso. I admire the many different styles he painted in, and the way he interpreted a subject in a unique way.
I can see why they wanted this in their journal - beautiful. Merry Christmas and best wishes for a great new year Karin. Barrie
Thank you, Barrie ! Well, they will make it look even more stunning by embellishing it with gold. Can't wait to see the new diaries when they finally come out. Thanks for the wishes. All the best in the New Year !
This is a great work!
This is so unique, having a tiger face formed out of all the shapes, lines, and patterns. Well done!
love your style
This caught my eye, I like it a lot.
Nice composition. I really like the line work, colors, and forms. Well designed.
