Artist's Comments

Something new, in watercolour with a bit of pen and ink.
I made this to fit a small frame I had around the house, and with the intention of entering it in the upcoming Little Gems exhibition. (little gems, meaning small paintings)
This one is about 1/2 the size of a standard size letter.

Really beautiful - I love the stylization and colors you use. Their bodies look like little nautillus shells :)

I like the ghosty kitty in the clouds (of is that a cloud) either way I love it!

Thank you! The ghostly cat was created by scrubbing the background colour off with a damp brush. It's fun to play around with that techique.
