Daily doodle

Here's another in a series of doodles. I do this because they are fun, and they get me past the procrastinating about drawing. Get that pencil moving. I think Picasso said something along the lines , that it doesn't matter what you paint or draw, what matters is that you paint or draw every day. ( this is not a quote, by the way) Anyway, I have a new set of pencils, which range from 2H to 6B, and they have a lovely feel about them, and I love to build up depth and variety of values. The act of drawing gets the creative juices flowing. I know they are not the best drawings, certainly not meant to compete with the exquisite corpses type drawings, although I would love to eventually do something which is as exquisite as some of the drawings I've seen here on DA.
