City cats

This is a stunning artwork, even though it has a rainbow of colours they all blend in together very well.

The cat second from the left caught my eye first, with its big thick lines and wavy stripes. It's a good focal point as it draws the eye to the centre of the image where the viewer can then takes in the surrounding image.

Another particularly well done feature in this image is the change from organic to geometric shapes and lines. At the very bottom of the image are waves, curls, and rounded shapes. Then it moves onto the cats, who are also mostly (but not enitrely; the cat in the bottom right seems to be the exception) rouned and smooth, with their pointed ears being the link between the more angular city landscape above - it's a smooth transition.

I enjoy the designs of the cats in this somewhat abstract painting; they each have their own unique qualities be it shape, texture, colour, facial details or postures.
